Description
This photograph is related to The Color Purple because it is shown as a description of the Mayors house. However, in the novel there is not an actual description of the Mayors house in Georgia, I think that this photograph is a good representation of what the Mayors house may have looked like. The downside of this photograph is that the house may be a little more fancy than what would have been expected from the time period of The Color Purple but it still represents a house fit for a Mayor.
