Title
THE CRAYON PAPERS.
Date
1839-10
Description
I had a lot of trouble finding an article about this topic, after searching through about 40 or so items, I settled on this one, which is a simple document that mentions some mansions not 30 miles away from New York. It describes the landscape and says that there were a lot of farming fields and that each farming field had their own mansion. From this I can assume that there were a lot of rich people living in the mansions. From this we can assume that the people who lived there were all wealthy. I think it is not impossible to assume that Lily could have partied at one of these mansions, if it was a real novel.
